Personal Training

 Most of our programs are also available as one-on-one Personal Training. We recommend that new members begin with a free personal training session. Our staff will assess the physical abilities of the new member and discuss their goals and interests so as to match the new member with the most appropriate class. Some members prefer to have all their training on a Personal Training basis. While this is considerably more expensive, it does provided training that is specifically tailored to the interests, goals and abilities of the member. This allows the member to achieve their goals much more rapidly. We sometimes recommend new members take a few personal training classes before joining one of our more strenuous group classes.

 

 

Personal Training is also highly recommended for members who are working through a rehabilitation routine after injury or illness. These programs are designed to bridge the gap in time between when medically supervised Physical Therapy has ended and when full physical recovery has occurred. In such cases, Personal Training can be highly effect in enabling a return to full functionality and sometimes even beyond the physical level that had been achieved before the illness or injury. Have you ever noticed the affect that music has on your mood?  You have probably noticed that not everyone likes the same music.  One of the advantages of Personal Training is that the entire mood of the program is tailored for the member.  The music is the music that motivates YOU.  The lighting is adjusted to the level that YOU find most comfortable.  Changes like this make a large difference in the overall "feel" of the program.

 

Cost for Personal Training is $25 per hour or groups of 2 for $35. per hour. Reduced rates are available for larger groups.  Time slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. 

Currently available times are

Monday and Wednesday:    1:00 - 2:00 PM  or  2:00 - 3:00 P.M. 

Tuesday and Friday:           1:00 - 2:00 PM  or  2:00 - 3:00 PM.

Testimonial on Recovering from a Stroke

In 2007 I was stricken with a stroke.
