Walter Marker - Chief Instructor of our Martial Arts and NLP Programs.
Dr. Marker began studying Martial Arts when he was in High School and never stopped. In addition to Aikido, he studied a variety of Martial Arts including Japanese Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Okinawian Karate, Iaido, Jodo, Judo and Tai Chi. He currently holds 5th degree Black Belt in Aikido, and 1st degree Black Belts in Jodo and Iaido. He also has been certified as an NLP teacher by the Society of Neuro Linguistic Programers. In addition to his Martial Arts training, he has a PhD degree from the University of Chicago and is currently employed during the day at NASA, Johnson Space Center.

Harvey Newman - Chief Instructor of our Hatha Yoga Program and Children's Aikido Program.
Sensei Newman has been practicing Aikido for 18 years and holds a 3rd dgree Black Belt. He has also studied Hatha Yoga for 17 years. When not doing Aikido and Yoga, Sensei Newman is a licensed Art Therapist and works with several of the hospitals in the area. Sensei Newman has said that the insights he has obtained working as a therapist directly apply to teaching Aikido.

Chantay Laite - Chief Instructor of our Fitness, Belly Dancing and Kundalini Yoga Programs
Mz Laite has been a Fitness Professional for 20 years. She worked for many years in the fitness industry in the Miami area, Chantay is now introducing the South Florida style of Fitness Training to the Houston area.

Michael Jones - Instructor in our Aikido Program.
Dr Jones began studing Aikido 15 years ago after having studied Kaarte for many years. He currently holds the rank in 2nd degree Black Belt (Nidan). Dr Jones is a licensed psycholgist and runs a private practise in the Clear Lake area.

Jason Stone - Instructor in our Aikido Program
Mr Stone began studing Aikido 10 years ago. He currently holds the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt (Nidan). For many years, Mr Stone was a performer at the Renaissance Festival, playing a variety of roles that included stage combat. Currently, Mr Stone is a Vice President of a Houston based video production company.

Courtney Payne - Instructor in our Aikido Program
Mz Payne began studing Aikido 5 years ago. She currently holds the rank of 1st degree Black Belt (Shodan). Mz Payne is currently a Graduate Student at Rice University doing reseach for her PhD in the area of Nanotechnology

Lynn's Bio
Lynn Brown is a shamanic energy medicine healer and teacher. She is certified at the Master Level in Energy Medicine by Dr. Alberto Villoldo and The Four Winds Society (www.thefourwinds.com). Lynn’s background also includes 10 years of teaching the practice of Aikido as a 2nd Degree Black Belt (Nidan). She also teaches Zumba fitness/dance. Lynn holds an M.S. in Space Technology, a B.S. in Physics, and a B.S. in Education, and is as former NASA Engineer.
